The Breitungen Pleßlauf will take place on August 17, 2025, marking its 22nd edition at the foot of the iconic Pleß mountain in Breitungen. Since 2004, more than 10,000 participants have been welcomed to this traditional fun run in the Werratal valley. The event offers various distances, including 30 km, 21 km, 10.7 km, 6 km, as well as children's races over 3 km and 1 km. Participants can look forward to a well-filled starter bag, a finisher medal, and numerous awards for the fastest runners.
Highlights
- For our 22nd edition on August 17, 2025, we offer you the following running distances: 30 kilometers, 21 kilometers, 10.7 kilometers, 6 kilometers, 3 kilometers (children's race), and 1 kilometer (children's race).
- While the winners in the main races receive trophies and vouchers, the "Club with the Most Participants" and the "Children's Group with the Most Participants" will be honored with a perpetual trophy.
- Refreshments will be available along the route as usual every 5 kilometers, and the same applies to the finish area with drinks and fruit.
